The Eco Council have been working really hard so far this year and are proud to announce that we have been awarded the Woodland Trust Gold Green Tree Award. So far this year all classes have had the opportunity to visit our outdoor learning area and have enjoyed a wide range of learning opportunities. We have now started working on making some bigger changes and are in the process of evaluating our school environment to decide how we can make it a more eco-friendly place to learn.
A summery form one of our Eco Councillors;

‘As an eco-council we are trying to change the world for the better. Our acts should save the school money, make the school a nicer place to be, as well as saving the environment.

Being awarded the Green Tree Award is an honour that we are proud to have. This award has helped us the apricate the environment we have and will help our school to have more wild life. At the moment we are working towards our Eco Schools award and are thinking about using less plastic, electricity and looking after our environment. These may seen like small things, but they can make a big difference. We as you to please do as much as you can to help us make the world a better place.’
