Year 3 have settled in to Key Stage 2 really well. The reading corner is very popular and the children have an obvious love of reading. We have been busy learning how important it is to be able to reason and explain why and how we know we have the right answer to any question in Maths. We have also been learning outside and have been learning the principle of exchanging when we are adding 1-digit numbers to 3-digit numbers.
Finally, you will have seen that this weeks spellings are all homophones. Building on the children’s learning in Year 2 one of our targets for Year 3 is to be able to spell homophones correctly.
