Year 3 have been really busy! In PSHE we worked as groups to make cars out of 2 carrots, 10 cocktail sticks and some string! There was lots of amazing discussion around the best way to go about this and the children were amazing at listening to each others ideas and giving feedback.
As part of Black History Month, we worked in pairs and researched a famous person of black origin. We then presented our information to the class-everyone learnt so much! In RE, we looked closely at the ceremony of Holy Communion and why it is important to Christians and then made a trip to the Methodist church where we were all lucky enough to receive Holy Communion from Reverend Donna!
