At Wingrave we believe that the best provision for any educational need is through quality first teaching. Whenever possible children will remain in class and be supported by staff in lessons.

In some cases, where children may have concerns or gaps identified these can be managed through focused, short-term interventions provided by our staff and our Acting SEND Coordinator, Ms L Garwood.

Where a more significant need has been identified, provision can be made to assess children through specialist means following a dialogue with parents and staff together.

If you have concerns about your child and their learning, existing parents should first raise this with their class teacher. Prospective parents should raise any specific needs or concerns on a visit to the school so we can discuss required provision.

For further information, please contact the school to speak to Ms Garwood, or our current SEN Report is available on our documents page.
