Welcome to Wingrave Church of England PTFA
Registered Charity Number: 1105741
The Parent, Teacher & Friends Association (PTFA) are a group of parents who, along with the support of staff and other members of the community, organise events and activities to raise money for the school. In a time when budgets are tight their role is invaluable in ‘putting the icing on the cake’ by way of purchasing resources and funding projects the school would otherwise not be able to afford. A core committee oversee the coordination of events but offers of help are always appreciated whether that be time, energy, or other simply other fundraising suggestions.
On an ongoing basis, we run regular fun events including discos, film nights, shopping evenings, tea parties as well as the ever-popular Christmas fayre. Funds are also raised through purchases including things like personalised Christmas cards, Pantomime tickets and cashback fundraising schemes.
We always try and ensure that we put on a varied mix of events and activities to suit everyone … Cake is often involved!
After the work is done, it’s so rewarding to see the children enjoy new resources and equipment provided by the PTFA!
In recent years we have funded over £11,000 worth of extra spending to the school which has gone towards items such as iPad and Laptops, VR headsets, outdoor play, and classroom equipment.
Want to get involved?
Don’t be put off if you feel you can’t give your time, haven’t been asked or are unsure what’s involved. The more people become involved, the more we can achieve and the easier it will be … it doesn’t always mean you giving up a lot of time.
Get in touch at any time:
We’re always open to feedback, new ideas and support so please get in touch.
If you would like to donate to our PTFA we have a Peoples Fundraising page.
