The idea started from our Year 5 class discussion on Sikhism in RE. We are learning about the Gurdwara (Sikh place of worship) and how they reach out into their community to help and support all people, whether they be of the Sikh faith or not. The class decided that they’d like to do something for their community and a list was drawn up and the litter picking was the one chosen.
