This morning the whole school walked to the Church in Wingrave to celebrate Harvest. This was the first outing for our new EYFS class who were ably supported by our Year 6 children. With growing numbers we have had to spill into the choir stalls just to fit in all the children!

So many generous donations of food were given to support the Aylesbury Vineyard Storehouse – thank you! All classes had produced some writing or artwork to decorate the Church – thank you to Mrs Perkins to displaying it so beautifully.

Rev Howard and Rev Andrew lead us in thinking about all the gifts we have been given by God and we explored the Fruits of the Spirit using the reading from Galatians:

The Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control. There is no law against such things as these.

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have put aside their human nature with all its distractions and desires.

The Spirit has given us life and so must direct our lives. We must not be over proud or irritate one another or be jealous of one another.
